Leitda Køkken is a publication, not a shop or a service. Nothing on this site is offered for sale, no subscriptions exist, and no professional relationship of any kind is created by reading our pages. The material here consists of recipes, cooking notes and cultural commentary about Danish food, provided free of charge for your personal enjoyment.

Cooking at Your Own Stove

When you cook from a recipe published here, you do so in your own kitchen, with your own equipment and ingredients, under your own judgment. You are responsible for handling raw meat and fish safely, for cooking food to temperatures appropriate where you live, for supervising children near heat and knives, and for checking that every ingredient suits the people you feed. Hot fat, sharp tools and ovens demand respect; please give it to them.

What Belongs to Whom

The written recipes, descriptions, page layouts and the Leitda Køkken name are the property of the publisher identified below. Photographic imagery is displayed under license from its respective creators. You are welcome to cook our dishes, print pages for your own kitchen use, and share links to the site. You may not republish our text wholesale, present it as your own work, or use the Leitda Køkken name to suggest an endorsement that does not exist.

Honest Limits of a Recipe Website

We test our recipes with care, but we make no promise that every dish will succeed in every kitchen, that measurements convert perfectly in all regions, or that the site will be available without interruption. The content is provided as it stands, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. Traditional dishes also vary from family to family; where our version differs from your grandmother's, hers wins, at least at her table.

Responsibility for Outcomes
